The essential components are;

(a) Probe atomising head.

The head itself works by pumping a combination of water and chlorine dioxide through two opposing meshes. These spin at 12,000 rpm, pulverising the liquid into an incredible 238 billion drops per litre. The droplets are mono-dispersed – in other words all the same size. This ensures that molecular linking with the odour molecules is maximized.

The result is an almost “dry mist”. This is created from an extremely low liquid volume, meaning that operation is extremely cost effective and can be continuous.

(b) Catalytic Chlorine Dioxide

The combination of cation ion exchange and catalytic chemistry has produced the most efficient way to deliver chlorine dioxide without the need for storage or strong solutions.

Typically concentrations of between 0.5mg/l and 5mg/l chlorine dioxide are required to provide complete odour destruction.

Chlorine Dioxide does not simply mask offensive smells, like other odour control additives. Its unique chemistry combines chemically with the odour molecules and destroys them.

Another major benefit is that Chlorine dioxide will destroy any pathogens contained within the water supply or being carried within an odour vapour.
