Clearwater Fundraises for Cancer Research UK

This year, Clearwater Technology celebrates 25 years in the water treatment and air hygiene industry and is doing something special to celebrate. It aims to raise £25,000 for Cancer Research UK, representing £1,000 for every year it has been operating.

The Two Towers Walk

Clearwater employees have been affected by cancer, and so the company has been greatly motivated to help the cause as much as possible. Fundraising events will range in scale, from food-related challenges to sporting challenges. One such recent challenge took place in June, when three members of the senior management team (Nick Tregaskes, Tim Gaston and Ian Lauder) took on the Two Towers walk from The Tower of London to the Eiffel Tower in Paris; a truly wonderful achievement.

Cancer Research

Cancer Research UK fundraising manager Rachel Brown said: “We are extremely grateful for all the time and effort invested by Clearwater Technology staff, suppliers and customers. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who is playing their part towards reaching this fantastic fundraising target.

Every two minutes, someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer. With the help of Clearwater Technology staff, suppliers and customers, we’re working to fund research which will help more men, women and children to survive.”
