The Pall Kleenpak Water Filter (KAQL3) has been validated using Legionella pneumophila for up to 31 day use, extensively trialed under field conditions, and is designed to remove Legionella spp. from the water supply thus allowing flexible hose shower outlets to remain in use during periods of critical contamination within buildings. Use of this product may also be appropriate during building works or maintenance to assure safety of the water supply. Legionella is a common contaminant of water supplies, and can lead to morbidity and mortality.
